Visitors can enjoy the uplifting sounds of a VE Day Concert from 1:00pm to 3:30pm on both days. The programme will begin with a welcome and commemorative poem from veterans of the National Service (RAF) Association, followed by performances from the RAF Voluntary Band Cosford and The Bluebird Belles, a popular vocal trio known for reviving the joyous swing tunes of the 1940s.

Throughout the weekend, families can take part in a range of free, hands-on activities. Guests can get creative at the VE Day Bunting Workshop by contributing to a Union Jack-themed display in the hangar, try on period RAF uniforms and capture a memorable selfie, or step into the Museumโ€™s Lecture Theatre to watch original VE Day footage showcasing the euphoric celebrations of 1945. Visitors are encouraged to embrace the 1940s spirit by arriving in vintage attireโ€”civilian or Allied militaryโ€”for a chance to win the Best Dressed Family Prize.
