The Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing‘s North American B-25 Mitchell, “Maid in the Shade” will also be part of the show, and will be offering flight experiences for the week leading up to the festival and on June 30th, the Sunday after the show. Several other acts and attractions may be added as the show dates near.
Organizers also are setting up a “hangar dance” featuring a live band June 28 as well as a special memorial tribute to veterans will at 6:30PM on June 28 during which family and community members can participate by launching a skylantern after which there will be a fireworks show.
Gates will open at 5PM and the show will begin at 6:30PM June 28. On June 29, gates will open at 10AM and shows will begin at 12:30PM.

Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
