During the weekend, visitors will have the rare opportunity to see B-29 DOC up close, explore its cockpit and interior during guided ground tours, and even experience a ride aboard the historic heavy bomber. โ€œHonoring the legacy of the Greatest Generation and those who stepped up to defend freedom during World War II is at the heart of our mission,โ€ said Sean Elliott, B-29 DOC Aircraft Commander. โ€œPartnering with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum for this remarkable event allows us to share the incredible stories behind these warbirds and the people who built and flew them.โ€
